Oct. 29, 2020 | This week's manufacturing news and insights for biopharma leaders Note from the editor Next week, you will receive this newsletter under a new name. On Nov. 5, Manufacturing Weekly will become Gene Therapy Weekly. More than the name will change: We will use Gene Therapy Weekly to report deeply on the fast-emerging field of genetic medicine, from gene therapy to CRISPR gene editing and engineered cell therapy. Manufacturing is crucial for gene therapies, and we'll continue to cover how drugmakers design and build the complex treatments, as you've seen included here previously. But beginning Nov. 5, this newsletter will report exclusively on gene therapies and their development. We're very excited to spend more time covering a space that's on the industry's cutting edge, and we think you'll enjoy our coverage, too. We'll still report on major manufacturing news that doesn't involve gene therapy in our Daily Dive, which you can sign up for here. Next Thursday, you'll automatically receive the first issue of Gene Therapy Weekly. If you're not interested in reading about gene therapy, you can update your subscription. Please let us know if you have any questions, and we hope to count you as a reader for years to come!
