Click here  Thursday, 23 November 2023 MEDIA ADVISORY Climate, health and WHO at COP28 Virtual media briefing on Monday, 27 November 2023 at 14.00 CET (Geneva time) COP28 (30 November to 12 December 2023, Dubai, United Arab Emirates) presents a unique opportunity to lift the political profile of the climate and health agenda and to prioritize the health of people and the planet in climate negotiations. WHO is working with the COP28 Presidency to lead the first-ever day dedicated to health at COP on 3 December 2023 and the meeting of Health and Climate Ministers, underlining the urgent need to accelerate health-focused climate action at every level. The speakers will brief journalists on WHO participation in COP28, the activities scheduled at the Health Pavillion and the demand by the global health community for urgent, bold and immediate climate action.
