This report also includes a summary of a WHO mission to the Democratic Republic of the Congo conducted in collaboration with national counterparts and partners to assess the mpox situation in the country. Based on the data reported through global surveillance, the mpox outbreak continues in most WHO regions, at a low level of transmission in the Western Pacific and South-East Asia, while more extensive transmission is observed in the European Region and in the Region of the Americas.
