At WHO, we're calling for specific actions focused on health systems resilience and here's why: Against this context, building equitable and resilient health systems is even more crucial to ensure health for all. Yet, progress on UHC has stagnated since 2015 and stalled since the COVID-19 pandemic, and over half of the world’s population is not fully covered by essential health services. On UHC Day, WHO calls on governments to urgently invest in the resilience of health systems to drive progress towards UHC and deliver health for all in a turbulent world. It’s time for action! WHO and partners will mark UHC Day through a series of events on Monday, 11 December. 14:00-15:00 CET – UHC Day townhall with youth and parliamentarians Youth advocates and parliamentarians will unite in an advocacy to shape the future of health.
