Click here  Saturday, 24 August 2024 Correction: Disease Outbreak News Mpox On 22 August, WHO published a Disease Outbreak News on mpox in Africa. https://www.who.int/emergencies/disease-outbreak-news/item/2024-DON528 We would like to inform you that a correction was made to the age breakdown for children in Burundi Corrigendum: The distribution percentages of cases by age group in Burundi have been corrected. The revised data is as follows: It should read: Children under the age of five years make up 28.9% of the cases, followed by those aged from 11 to 20 years (20.4%), and those aged from 21 to 30 years (18.3%). For ease of reference: The incorrect text was the following: ...Children under the age of five years make up 60.3% of the cases, followed by those aged from 11 to 20 years (42.6%), and those aged from 21 to 30 years (38.2%).
