Click here  Sunday, 08 August 2024 MEDIA ADVISORY INVITATION TO MEDIA Joint press conference on the Sudan humanitarian crisis WHAT: WHO Director-General Dr Tedros is undertaking a mission to Sudan to assess first hand the health impacts of the conflict-driven humanitarian crisis, which has been exacerbated by extensive damage and loss of life caused by heavy rains and flooding. During his time in Sudan, Dr Tedros has visited health facilities serving displaced Sudanese, met with national health authorities and United Nations partners.
