Click here  Saturday, 19 October 2024 MEDIA ADVISORY INVITATION TO MEDIA Joint press conference on the Marburg virus disease response in Rwanda WHAT: WHO Director-General Dr Tedros is undertaking a mission to Rwanda to assess first hand the response to the Marburg virus disease outbreak in Rwanda, and the support being provided by WHO and partners. During his time in Rwanda, Dr Tedros has visited health facilities treating people infected by the virus and the command centre leading the response and met with national health authorities and United Nations partners. WHEN: Sunday 20 October at 2pm CEST/Kigali time. WHERE: Kigali, Rwanda and streamed on https://www.rba.co.rw/tv and WHO’s social media channels.
