About the reports The Progress toward measles elimination – worldwide, 2000–2024 will be published in the Weekly Epidemiological Record (WER) on Friday, 28 November 2025. The report is available under embargo to journalists only. Please send your request to chriscadenk@who.int with a copy to mediainquiries@who.int. Embargo will lift at 11.30 CET/10.30 GMT on Friday, 28 November 2025. The Immunization Agenda 2030 Mid-term Review will also be published at the same time, highlighting progress towards global immunization targets, including measles elimination. The IA2030 decade runs from 2021 to 2030; 2025, therefore, represents a critical mid-point to take stock of progress and identify necessary shifts for the rest of the decade.
