Click here  Wednesday, 3 December 2025 MEDIA ADVISORY Under embargo until 10:45 a.m. JST/Tokyo, 02:45 a.m. CET/Geneva on Saturday 6 December 2025 Universal Health Coverage (UHC) Global Monitoring Report 2025 The UHC Global Monitoring Report, developed jointly by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Bank Group, provides the latest overview on global progress toward achieving the UHC targets by 2030. The report will be officially launched at the UHC High-Level Forum, taking place on 5-6 December in Tokyo, Japan. This landmark event, attended by international health partners, policymakers, including senior leaders from the Government of Japan, the World Bank Group and the WHO, will also mark the official launch of the UHC Knowledge Hub in Tokyo. The UHC Global Monitoring Report presents new data and findings on progress toward targets for essential health service coverage and the reduction of financial hardship among populations. It provides global and regional trends in service coverage, drawing on data from 195 countries or territories, and examines trends in financial hardship based on data from 168 countries. WHO can make an embargoed news release and report copies available to interested media under embargo.
