Untreated hearing loss affects more than just a child’s ability to hear. It can delay speech and language development, hinder cognitive growth, and limit social interaction. Over time, these barriers contribute to poorer educational outcomes, reduced employment prospects, and long-term economic disadvantage. Addressing hearing loss early is not only a health priority — it is essential to ensuring every child has the opportunity to learn, participate, and reach their full potential.
