Convened by the World Health Organization, Bloomberg Philanthropies, Vital Strategies, and the city of Rio de Janeiro, the Summit comes at a critical moment for urban health, tackling urgent issues including extreme heat, healthier school environments, safer streets, and the growing influence of tobacco and ultra-processed food industries.
