Tuesday, 14 July Embargoed virtual press conference on the WHO/UNICEF estimates on national child immunization coverage 14:00 CEST WHO and UNICEF are gearing up to release the latest Estimates of National Immunization Coverage (WUENIC) – the world’s largest dataset on childhood immunization coverage trends for 13 vaccine-preventable diseases across 195 countries. This embargoed press briefing, held one day before the public launch, will provide early access to the data. Experts from WHO and UNICEF will explain how countries are progressing in reaching every child with life-saving vaccines and advancing the targets of the Immunization Agenda 2030. The dataset offers a critical assessment of global immunization progress, highlighting where coverage has stalled or declined, as well as where countries have made significant gains. For an advance copy of the data, please reach out to chriscadenk@who.int and salhattab@unicef.org. All data are embargoed until 00.01 GMT / 02.01 CEST on 15 July 2026. A webinar on the WHO and UNICEF Estimated of National Immunization Coverage (WUENIC) 2025 will also be held on 15 July 2026 at 13:00 CEST.
